Canal Sud, radio associative toulousaine, a reçu mardi 5 novembre Marion Gary, membre des éditions CMDE, pour présenter La racine de l'Ombú, l'inédit de Julio Cortázar et d'Alberto Cedrón, qui paraît le 8 novembre 2013 : c'est l'occasion de revenir sur la genèse du livre, son parcours mouvementé, tombé dans l'oubli puis sorti de l'ombre. Un livre qui, à travers l'histoire personnelle du peintre Alberto Cedrón dans les quartiers populaires de Buenos Aires, en dit long sur l'histoire de son pays, l'Argentine, traversé par les coups d'État mais aussi par les résistances, l'espoir posé dans un peuple qui - comme le dit Cortázar à la fin du livre - s'écrit au-delà de ces pages…
